BEAR ARMS LICENSE TO CARRY
The License to Carry (LTC) Program is a 4-6 hour class, mandated by the Wisconsin Department of Public Safety. The WTC class does not teach basic firearm or shooting instruction. If you do not own a handgun, you may rent one from Bear Arms.
BEAR ARMS LTC program includes:
- State mandated 4-6 hours of instruction and written exam
- Firearm proficiency test
- A completed LTC-100
- Hearing and eye protection
- One box of ammunition (.380ACP, 9MM, .40S&W, .45ACP, or .38SPL)
- Handgun (at least .32 caliber, rentals are available)
- A current Wisconsin Driver’s License
Must already be proficient with firearms, we recommend taking our Handgun Essentials Class prior to signing up.
PLEASE NOTE: When signing up for a class, you must sign up ONE PARTICIPANT at a time. Multiple purchases must be done separately. If we do not reach a minimum of ten participants for the class, we reserve the right to reschedule that class at a later date.
All class fees are NON REFUNDABLE and do not include the state application fee. Class completion does not guarantee a License to Carry will be approved. The Texas Department of Public Safety makes the final decision based on their guidelines.
If you need to reschedule your class date, please call (262)-238-1144 or email the Bear Arms Training staff at email@example.com as soon as possible. We require 48 hours advanced notice to reschedule.
